Can’t Stop Won’t Stop

ICYMI, these are exciting times at Flourish Placemaking Collective!

Tim recently shared the shift we’ve made to our organizational structure—a move to shared leadership with co-executive directors, reflecting our belief that the best efforts are COLLABORATIVE in nature rather than top-down.

Equally (if not more) exciting is the news that Tabitha Montgomery is stepping into the newly created Co-Executive Director role. If you know Tabitha at all, I don’t have to explain why this is such a big deal. And if you don’t know Tabitha… well, you’re missing out on knowing one of the most brilliant, passionate, and just plain fun human beings on the planet.

The new doesn’t stop there! The opportunity in front of us is HUGE. Churches, community-facing organizations, and communities are seeking creative solutions for these church spaces, and we get to play a small part in that process of reimagining with them. When it all comes together, flourishing abounds.

But friends, the truth is that to make this sustainable for us, we need to not only build out the systems and structures that will make our work scalable (something Tabitha will be championing in the months ahead); we also need to unlock new sources to help fund this work.

We are deeply grateful for the generosity of our amazing donors who make our work possible. Yet as we face the growing invitation to help more and more churches, it will require a growing team, which in turn requires growing financial resources. And because we desire to partner with churches at a rate that is feasible for them (given their often-challenging financial situations), we recognize the importance of bolstering Flourish’s development work.

And so,

WE ARE HIRING!!

Posted on the website, you’ll find the job description for our new Development Manager role. Check it out! And if you know someone who might be a good fit, please send it their way and encourage them to apply. You can let them know they’ll be hard-pressed to find work that’s more fulfilling (or a team that’s more fun to work with).

Even better days ahead,
